K9 Vero served with distinction as a certified patrol canine with the Connecticut State Police, where he was assigned to both Troop B and Troop L in the northwest corner of the state. Throughout his career, Vero played a critical role in public safety — assisting in the search for missing persons, tracking down wanted individuals, and apprehending criminals.
With a strong drive and unwavering focus, K9 Vero was an invaluable partner to his handler and a trusted asset to the communities he served.
Now enjoying a well-earned retirement, Vero spends his days chasing his favorite ball and relaxing with the humans who love him. His loyalty, courage, and service continue to inspire, and we are honored to recognize him as Foundation Dog #008 under the Harlow’s Heroes program.
