BIO:

K9 Kodi, a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix, proudly served the Enfield Police Department as a dual-purpose patrol and narcotics detection canine. From 2017 to 2022, Kodi was a reliable and hardworking partner, dedicated to protecting his community with focus, skill, and heart.

In the fall of 2022, Kodi and his handler earned regional recognition by winning the USPCA K9 competition, advancing to the national level where they placed an impressive 8th overall in the country — a true testament to their bond and training. The team officially retired from duty at the end of that year, closing a distinguished chapter of service.

Now enjoying a well-deserved retirement, Kodi has embraced the good life. He spends his days swimming, hoarding an endless collection of toys, and enjoying in his new found love of stuffed animals — which, unlike his tougher toys, hes surprisingly gentle with. Of course, the ball still reigns supreme in his heart.

As Foundation Dog #011 under Harlow’s Heroes, Kodi represents both the excellence of working K9s and the importance of honoring them long after their shift ends.
